On the evening of 16th July, members of our local business networking group came together for a lively social gathering and barbecue at the stunning Lapford Mill. While the weather flirted with drizzle, it couldn’t dampen the warmth and energy of the event—or the joy of dining outdoors in such a picturesque setting.
Our hosts for the evening, Alex and Gwen, were nothing short of exceptional. Their hospitality, enthusiasm, and attention to detail made everyone feel welcome and at ease. They introduced us to their exciting new venture at the mill, a space that blends delicious food, vibrant music, and a diverse calendar of events in a truly unique atmosphere.
The evening was filled with laughter, great conversation, and a genuine sense of community. It was a perfect opportunity to strengthen local connections and celebrate the spirit of collaboration that defines our network.
