Mike Dicks is retired, with a portfolio of interests that he supports either in an advisory role or as a volunteer.

The most relevant organisation he represents is Visit Exmoor, which he has just joined the Board as an NED. They promote tourism on Exmoor and are a non profit, community interest company.

As a non-political body, Visit Exemoor seeks to maximise the benefits of sustainable tourism for its members, the local economy and communities whilst working together with all appropriate bodies engaged in promoting the economic and social well being of greater Exmoor. The area represented consists of Exmoor National Park, West Somerset, the Quantock Hills and North Devon. 

Mike now permanently live on Exmoor having moved from Bermondsey, in April 2020. His family is originally from Tiverton/Taunton, but he was born in Clevedon and part educated at Colstons School and Bristol Polytechnic. Active in all country sports, with two daughters a teacher and a vet and two labradors.
