Ladies Captain's Day

Dear MDN Member
As most of you will know, I am the Ladies Captain for Downes Crediton Golf Club. Each year the Ladies Captain hosts a Ladies Captain’s Day which is open to all our lady members. It is a fun competition in a format decided by the Ladies Captain. There are also prizes for various things like nearest the pin and nearest the line, the winner with the best score for the day as well as prizes for 2nd, 3rd & 4th places. There are also things such as a putting match, paying the pro for taking a drive or a shot into the green, taking a shot from the balcony with a plastic golf club into a paddling pool on the practice green and various other fun activities. All these events will be for charity, as will any profit from the day; this year the charity is Exeter Leukaemia Fund which is a local charity helping those with cancer.
I now come to the main point of this letter; I wonder if you would consider sponsoring a hole for the day. Any amount would be welcome and your company name and details would be on the tee box for all to see.
I would be grateful if you would consider this request and if you are able to sponsor a hole, please let me know and I will send you BACS details for the Ladies Section of Downes Crediton Golf Club.
