Following a meeting in Spring of 2025, Mike Dicks, MDN member and, amongst many roles, a mentor for young people, has provided some details regarding the Urban Synergy initiative that provides mentors for young people in urban areas. They are particularly keen for mentors from outside of Cities and are particularly in need of female mentors.
The commitment comprises 8 one-hour sessions spread over 3 months, covering cv development, interview skills, and presentation skills. There’s an induction course for mentors and support from Barclays Life Skills online platform.
