Simon Nott

I am a freelance writer, publicist and media creator hired mainly in the horse racing and betting industry. I have written on a freelance basis for local, national and international print media since the 1990s including The Racing Post Weekender, Inside Edge and music titles, still active currently for Vive Le Rock, The Bloodstock Notebook and Racing Ahead magazine. The majority of my current written work is published on-line and often virtually live covering on-course betting activity at the UK's largest meetings. I also handle some PR work for trainer Nigel Hawke and host hospitality guests at Exeter Racecourse. I am the co-founder of the Star Sports funded #BettingPeople series which has now reached 340 long form interviews, mostly but not entirely conducted by me. While I am still heavily involved in my traditional work I am looking to expand casting a wider net for my interviewing skills.
