Growth with Jo

Hi, my name's Jo and I'm a female counsellor providing counselling services under the name 'Growth with Jo'. I have worked for charities and non-profits in the county for many years and bring a wealth of experience to my counselling practice which I set up in Crediton in April 2026. I have been trained as a person-centred counsellor but I also have qualifications and experience in horticultural therapy and bibliotherapy.

As a counsellor, I specialise in working with grief, loss, and trauma, due to my involvement with charities and non-profits in these areas of support, but I am able to provide counselling around a broad spectrum of issues.  I work in-person, online, or on the telephone, and have found that different methods of working suit some people better than others so I always take this into account with what I offer. If you were to work with me, my approach is warm, calm, and reassuring - I won't rush you, we will go at your pace, and we can explore your challenges together.
