Hospiscare: Some Good News!

Sharon Collins reported that Hospiscare had finally received an increase in funding from the NHS ICB from 15% to 24%, which was warmly welcomed by all present.

She also reported that the latest Mens’ walk had been a great success, with 1,600 walkers raising £125,000 for the Charity. The event has been going since 2012 and the latest walk has taken total funds raised over the £1 million mark!

Sharon thanked the participants and all who sponsored them. The challenge of funding the Charity remains but at least 2025 has got off to a great start.
