Denise Hook advised that Hospiscare have been publicising an SOS appeal as they are struggling to attract charitable donations during this difficult time. Please see the following link for more details:

Discussion ensued regarding the Christmas draw donations provided by some MDN members in 2019, prior to the pandemic.
Denise confirmed that she still has those items that are still in date and she suggested that she will set up a draw early in the New Year, in order that we can make the most of this postponed initiative.
Denise also advised that she will be moving to a more administrative role within the Charity but will keep us advised of who will be representing them at future MDN roles. We will miss Denise’s enthusiasm and her company when she does change roles but wish her all the best for the future and look forward to meeting her successor.
